New publication on the HydroBID Support Center webpage!
The publication presents the Adaptation Plan for Flooding Influenced by Climate Change in the Colonial City of Santo Domingo. According to the IPCC (AR6), there is a high possibility that the increase in atmospheric temperature will influence the change in frequency and magnitude of extreme precipitation events. Therefore, the exacerbation of such events in the future may put people, infrastructure, property, and the livelihoods and sustenance of places like the Colonial City at risk.
For the development of the plan HydroBID Flood was applied to analyze the effects of rainfall and floods of the river Ozama.
An excellent example of cooperation between professionals of different sectors in supporting climate resilience.
